James has over thirty years of experience in both public accounting and private industry. He currently works one-on-one with individuals to create tax and financial strategies that fit their personal needs and lifestyles. As the founder of a small firm, he takes the time to understand his clients and to listen to their situations, working with their best interest in mind.
Before starting his own CPA firm in 1975, James obtained a variety of experience that still benefits his clients today. He worked on the staff of a national CPA firm in Chicago and San Francisco, becoming familiar with large corporate business, and a regional CPA firm in San Francisco, where he developed his personalized, full-service approach to client’s needs. As a controller for a large international company headquartered in San Francisco and a financial analyst for a sugar company in the city, he saw firsthand the issues faced by today’s business leaders.
Not only a Certified Public Accountant, James holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from New York University. He is an active member of the California Society of CPAs.
